Settling back into life in South Australia and the wine industry. Living near the sea with a wet facing coast is a whole new experience!

Frozen Grapes
I was setting up to redo some photos for a book that I had contributed to when I took this picture of grapes which I was waiting to thaw. Can't say much about it, just think it loks good.

Sparkling and Strawberries
Yes, I know, more splash photos. But I only needed a tiny excuse to open some sparking and strawberries.
Sparkling and Strawberries 2
Ruined Jetty 3
Each shot from this series is at slightly different times around sunset giving amazingly different feels and colours.

Sienna and Jetty
I don't subscribe to the rule that every picture needs a heartbeat to be interesting, but my friend's daughter Sienna does definitely add to this image.
Fishermen
I like the triangle formed by the rod and line, obviously I am easily pleased.
Two Pigeons at the Seaside
At the seaside and these two seemed to be as much interlopers as we did. Of course there were no shortage of seagulls.
Wait for me!
Part of an extensive set of Andrew and his daughters on the beach. I liked the feel of the youngest rushing to catch up with her dad and sister.

Lonely Boat
Treking along the beach with friends to look at some jetty ruins and we all noticed this lone boat moored nearby. I could resisit cropping the image to a broad panorama.
Pumpkin Flower
For me this shot is all about contrasting colours. I love the yellow flower on the field of green, while keeping horizontal lines of the the flower and the broad flat leaves.
Julian and Stuart
Two of my closest friends shot while we were on a photographic weekend. I like the colours and composition. There is a similar shot with me in it but I definitely don't add to the image.
Door Handle
Don't ask me to explain it, I just like it.

Abandoned Hay
The way the hay spilled out of the door in this abandoned building appealed to me. I think it is the smooth curve described by the iron and the hay contrasted against the angular door giving it a feeling of movement. Or maybe not.
Bee and Flower
Could not quite freeze this shot enough to get a really crisp image (my hands not the equpment), but it was still fun.
Sign and Hill
Another image which I cannot explain, but I like it.

Port Norlunga After Sunset
The sun had gone after a dissapointing sunset and I decided to do a really long exposure to see if I could pull anything out of the sky (30 seconds at F8). Seems that I could.
Table and Jetty After Dark
Really about the contrast of colours and lines of the brightly lit bench and jetty after dark.
